Music, dance and song for all the family

Bring a soft toy for each person, and one broom per family, to this friendly fun session where we’ll get you all up and dancing – and singing along – to start off your day in style. With Fiona Frank (dance), Sian Phillips (song, accordion) and Paul Sherwood (clarinet).

Klezmer Youth

Learning tunes by ear and some accompaniment / rhythm.
Saturday and/or Sunday, 10.30-11.30am (UK time) S2
Led by: Gica Loening (violin)
Klezmer music – that lovely mix of happy, sad and irresistibly catchy tunes! Gica will lead you in fun step-by-step workshops, geared to your level, with a whirlwind tour of the basics you’ll need to play a simple melody by ear, along with hot tips for creating that klezmer vibe! All sheet music and recordings will be available in advance. For all instruments, young people aged 8-18.
