We encourage young people to attend KlezNorth and thanks to the generosity of KlezNorth participants we now have a moderate bursary fund to assist those under 25 who would not otherwise be able to afford to come to KlezNorth.
We are looking for young people who can show a proven interest in either Yiddish singing, Klezmer dance or in playing a musical instrument for Klezmer and who can demonstrate they would benefit from coming to KlezNorth. If interested in musical instrument playing, you should have reached grade 5 level or equivalent i.e. not be a beginner.

To apply for a bursary please complete the form confirming your age, and briefly state your interest, experience and skill level (as above) and your financial need for a bursary. Please state in what way you would benefit from coming to KlezNorth.

You should apply before 31st January 2020 after which you will be informed ASAP if your application has been successful. The bursary is worth 50% of a full weekend residential ticket (normally £100). There is a limited number of bursaries available.
